About

What is Brutsellog?
Brutsellog is a Dutch site with almost every day a photo and recipe of the dish we have eaten. Brutsellog.com is the little sister of the Dutch site. The dishes are dishes that can be easily made and don’t have to be expensive. The recipes are often made for two or three people. Brutselen means something like without much hassle in the kitchen (or anywhere else) preparing dishes.

Why starting Brutsellog?
Brutsellog is initiated by the idea of discovering the weblog and blogging phenomenon. For a blog to fill you need a topic which is interesting enough and which you can post frequently. Everyday we have to eat, so this became the subject of Brutsellog. The first blog posts were only photos, this was gradually expanded to include recipes. Recipes, in the beginning often prepared with bags and packages of all brands, were slowly replaced by recipes with fresh produce and fresh herbs. After a few year blogging in only the Dutch language we started this English site.
