Cook the penne al dente in boiling salted water. Bake 1 chopped onion with 1 finely chopped garlic clove and 1 teaspoon chili jam until the onion is soft in the hot butter. Meanwhile, peel the sausages. Add the sausages, and cook the sausage meat loose and brown. Add 2 teaspoons fennel seeds and 3 diced tomatoes. Warm another minute or 5. Season to taste with tomato ketchup. Serve with penne. Enjoy!
