Sprinkle 500 grams diced beef with salt and pepper. Bake the beef brown in hot butter. Scoop it from the pan and keep it aside. Bake in the remaining fat 4 chopped onions over medium heat until the onions begin to color. Add 1 tablespoon of flour, stir and fry briefly. Put the beef back into the pan. Pour 1 bottle of dark beer and 200 ml stock. Add 1 tablespoon mustard. Bring, while stirring, to a boil Add 2 bay leaves. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 1/2 hour with the lid on the pan over low heat. Add 4 crumbled spiced cookies and let it simmer for another 15 minutes. Remove the bay leaves out. Enjoy!
