Fry 6 sliced onions with 1 tablespoon brown sugar, some thyme and 1 teaspoon chili powder until the onions are soft and slightly browned. Add 1 liter water, 2 crumbled stock cubes and 2 tablespoons soy sauce. Bring the soup to a boil and heat for about 10 minutes on lower heat. Serve with grated cheese and toasted bread. Enjoy!
