Sprinkle500 grams beef with salt and pepper. Bake the beef brown on both sides in hot butter. Remove the beef from the pan and keep aside. Bake in the pan 1 chopped onion with 2 garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons chilli jam, 2 teaspoons ground coriander and 1 teaspoon turmeric until the onion is soft. Put the beef back into the pan and place it down with broth. Leave to simmer for 2 hours. Remove the beef from the pan and let the stock with 250 ml coconut milk and 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup to thicken. Meanwhile cut the beef into cubes. Add the beef to the pan and heat through thoroughly. Serve with white rice or nasi goreng. Enjoy!
