Cut a zucchini and eggplant lengthwise into slices. Sprinkle with salt and leave for an hour lying on a clean tea towel. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Fry in hot oil 1 sliced onion with 2 finely chopped garlic cloves until the onion is soft. Add 300 grams of minced beef and fry it loose. Season to taste with salt, pepper, allspice, cinnamon and mint. Add 500 grams diced tomatoes and 1 can of tomato puree. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the eggplant and zucchini slices on the grill. Put in an ovenproof dish a layer of meat mixture, then a layer of eggplant, then another layer of beef, a layer of zucchini and a layer of minced beef. Sprinkle with grated cheese if you wish. Place the ovenproof dish about 10 minutes in the preheated oven so the cheese can melt. Serve with a pasta or potatoes. Enjoy!
